Just for more info: Mastodon’s admin interface has set up the registration and login credentials. Administration of this instance can not see a password. When you create an account, your password is put through a modern, irreversible hashing algorithm.
When you first enter your account there is not much to see as far as your live feed is concerned. Only posts from users on this Instance. Go to a few users on this platform and follow their follow list or like their follower posts. Then your live feed will start filling up. It will take a few days.

More info: We started with 'limited federation mode' then we activated federation with some. This way we keep the junk posts out from the sheeple. Our users can follow, reply to, and see posts from users on those approved public servers.

What Happens When we federate with public servers in this mode? Controlled Exchange: Your server only shares data with the exact public servers on our approved list. User Interactions: Our users can follow, reply to, and see posts from users on those approved public servers. Or keep posts more private to your followers only.
